3 Tips for Managing Neuropathy Pain

What is neuropathy?

Neuropathy is a condition caused by damage or dysfunction in the body's nerves. It can lead to symptoms such as tingling, numbness, weakness, and pain, typically in your hands and feet. It can affect different types of nerves, including those responsible for sensation, movement, and organ function. Anywhere there are nerves, neuropathy can occur.

Here are some simple tips to help you better manage your painful neuropathy symptoms.

Focus on Anti Inflammatory Nutrition

Some foods that you eat increase inflammation within your body. When inflammation is increased, your neuropathy symptoms can become more intense and more difficult to endure. Think of it this way, if your body is too busy fighting off and regulating the inflammation that you consume, your body has no chance to start healing the nerves that are causing your neuropathy symptoms.

Aim for progress over perfection; don’t expect to change your entire lifestyle overnight. If you are interested in trying anti-inflammatory meals, check out my new recipe book. It includes five days of recipes designed to nourish your nerves, and you will learn more about the impact that nutrition has on your overall health.
